Happy new year to all- here's hoping you had a good one, and hope yet that it's better than 2022.

The previous year was a... dubious one for me. All year long, I made great strides in my passions and work life- I started getting more regularly into art, more involved in the things I wanted to do overall, and became a part of some fantastic communities. However, it also came at the cost of some pretty crap days, weeks, and even months. March was when I wound up getting my first strike at work (the first one in a long time, anyway), and May had me sleeping in the guest bedroom of my house for at least three weeks due to the ceiling collapsing in my room- of course, those are the most notable offenses, but that's also just the start. To make a long story short, while I'm grateful for the progress made last year, and the memories are things I can look back and laugh at, it's certainly nothing I'd like to relive.

A memory I would HAPPILY replay every week for the rest of this year, however, is MAGFest. I attended the one last year, and while, sure, I had fun at that one as well (even cosplayed!), I didn't have NEARLY as much fun at THAT one as I did this one: panels, good food, excellent games, the merch hall, panels (Thrown Controllers baybeeeeeee), and TONS of popular faces decided to swing by this time. Even the hotel was better than the one I stayed at last year!

That said... I'll confess: I still have FOMO. I did literally everything I wanted and set out to do without fail, and yet, I should've done twice as more. More panels and more indy video games, for sure (and maybe going to that bar on Saturday night wouldn't have hurt). Ah well- more to look forward to next year.

In the mean time, here's to a much more productive year overall, and more art to come: starting with something I should've posted a week ago...

We in it for another year, my dudes.

Gonna be real: last year wasn't that productive, art-wise. I don't regret (almost) all of the art I've made, and yet I barely posted any of it. So let's change that, or at least, as much as I'm able within my limits.

Each month I'm gonna try to post something- either new, or something I did in the past. I've barely made a dent on here since I've made this account, and I'd very much like to change that.

Here's hoping I can make more blog posts in the mean time, too.

Well, if my last news post is anything to go by, clearly I'm the most punctual man alive.

So this month... sucks? A lot? Yeah there's been a lot of shit to juggle, not the least of which including an apartment tour with my buddy in a couple days. I am still making art, contrary to what I say to myself every time I look at my uploads on this place, and I'm actually in the middle of a few projects this month, so hopefully those will see some light in due time- maybe even next week if I can get my ass in gear. On the subject of art, however, I would like to make a statement about a certain piece that I've decided to remove from my gallery:

The subject of that piece was of a streamer who, at press time, is currently going through many personal struggles that involve sensitive topics relating to her sexuality and experiences thereof. While she is currently expanding her audience to include a broader range of age groups, as well as distance herself slightly from the NSFW scene, I do not feel comfortable hosting an image that depicts a persona inconsistent with how she wishes to present herself. I have a ton of respect for this streamer and everything she does, and even though she said it was alright to keep the image up in the first place, I personally feel otherwise.

My apologies to the rest of you if you all missed seeing it- rest assured, however, that I didn't open this account just to post ONE spicy pic.

What’s good all-

First of all, thanks for your patience. I know ~2 weeks is a loose definition of “soon”, but I definitely hope the end results made up for it. I had a lot of fun working on all those pieces, and it’s my delight to (hopefully) get to more in the coming days.

With that said, I’ve got great news: I’ve been scouted for the Art Portal! So, here’s hoping for more fresh faces soon. See you in a bit for more good stuff. ✌🏻

Salutations, regardless- you all probably know me from my other socials, and it’s great to see you here if you’re just dropping by. As I mentioned on Twitter, I don’t advertise this specific account for… very obvious reasons, but that said, I’ll still upload the occasional art piece that I feel is worth putting up here. I’m actually working on a much more involved piece as I’m typing this out, but you guys won’t be seeing that for some time. Don’t worry, you won’t be waiting too much longer for it.
